The WE Council is fundraising money to “provide COVID-19 vaccines to developing countries through the organization COVAX since 80% of people in the developing world have not received any vaccine.”

Burnaby South Anti-Racism Club (BSAR) Black Excellence Video
“In this video, we highlights cases of Black Excellence, while also acknowledging the reality that Black individuals face, in that they have many more barriers and disadvantages due to societal and systemic barriers. We encourage you to do your own part in uplifting Black voices, art, and stories today … help us work towards a more anti-racist society.” – BSAR

January 14th, 2022 is the first Black Excellence Day!
This is an initiative organized by the Ninandotoo Society to “spark important conversations about anti-racism and unity among various ethnic groups”, according to CBC.
Burnaby South students share what Black Excellence Day means to them.
