Speed BOOK Dating sign-up form

What is Speed Book Dating?

It’s an activity where you talk to different people (one person at a time) about your favourite book(s) and they tell you what they like to read.
When do I need to sign up by?   
Sign-up forms are due on Tuesday, February 12th @ 3:45 pm
Where can I get a sign-up form?
From the Library  OR  print out the form from the link provided above.
What time do I need to be in the library on Feb. 14th?
Bring your lunch to library immediately after period 6 ends
Do I have to read a book especially for this?
No.  It can be something that you’ve read in the past.
Does it have to be a novel?
No.  It can be fiction or non-fiction, including magazines and graphic novels.
Can I bring more than one book to share?
Definitely!
Do I need to bring a copy of my book on Feb. 14th?
If you have a copy of the book, bring it.
Does it have to be a book from South’s library?
No.  It can be a book that you own or from the public library.

Book Swap

Did you know that there’s a book swap next week?

1) Dec. 10, 11, 12  (Mon to Wed) – bring your own books to the cafeteria at lunchtime.

2) Get a book buck for each book you bring in.

3) Dec. 13 (Thu) – bring your book buck(s) to the library during lunch  and choose your book(s).

There are many great titles donated by the Burnaby Public Library.  The BPL teen services librarian, Julia Nelson, will be here on Thursday during lunch.
