This term students learned about digital storytelling using stop motion animation. We watched many excellent examples of stop motion and took time to “play” to learn how to use the Lego movie app. For their final project students worked in teams to create a storyboard. They had to present this to the group for feedback before they started making their film. Next they had to gather materials and create their characters and sets. Finally, they filmed their stories and were encouraged to use their storyboards as guides. Here is some of their learning journey.
