Parents as Education & Career Coaches is a program that helps parents become more effective career development allies for their children.

Participants are introduced to the concept of coaching; an appropriate role they can assume when guiding and supporting their children’s career and educational journeys. 

Parents are given practical tools and strategies to help them become better career coaches for their youth as they transition from high school into post-secondary and their future careers.

This is to inform you of the upcoming UBC BCOM Fall Preview 2020 event hosted by the UBC Sauder School of Business.

The event will be taking place on

Thursday November 19^th

from 4:30 – 6:00pm

it will take place on Zoom this year.

This online event highlights the BCOM program and gives prospective students information on applying, as well as a chance to meet some of our current students, professors and staff.

Take advantage of this opportunity to explore the possibilities that exist for them in the UBC Sauder BCom program.

Attendees will learn more about the BCom curriculum and hear about some of the unique extracurricular opportunities available to students from the diverse perspectives of our current students and instructors and staff from our Business Career Centre.

The BCom admissions team will also be present to answer any questions about applying to UBC.

SIAT is an interdisciplinary school which combines the science of human experience, the analysis of media and culture, the creation of original and experimental works of art, and the implementation of new technologies– you can read more about our undergraduate program here.

During the online presentation there will be a short talk on the opportunities and pathways a SIAT degree offers as well as lead an engaging SIAT style activity.
