Graduation

Students MUST acquire 80 Credits (From Grade 10 through to Grade 12) in order to receive their High School Graduation (Dogwood Diploma)

The Graduation Requirement Breakdown is as follows:

Language Arts 10 (4 Credits)
Language Arts 11 (4 Credits)
Language Arts 12 (4 Credits) (Provincial Exam)
Social Studies 10 (4 Credits)
Social Studies 11/Civic Studies 11/BC First Nations 12 (4 Credits)
Science 10 (4 Credits)
Science 11 (4 Credits)
Math 10 (4 Credits)
Math 11 (4 Credits)
Physical Education 10 (4 Credits)
Planning 10 (4 Credits)
Fine Art or Applied Skill in 10, 11 or 12 (4 Credits)
Graduation Transitions (4 Credits)
Grade 12 Elective Credits (12 Credits)
Additional Elective Credits (16 Credits)

NOTE:   French Immersion students must complete four F.I courses in grade 10, two in grade 11 (Langue 11 and Science Humaines 11) and one in grade 12 (Langue Seconde 12). 

*Elective Credits can be earned through:  External Credits, Board Authorized Courses, Post-Secondary Credits, or Independent Directed Studies
