GRADE 11 and 12’s – MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

The following universities are hosting info sessions right here at Moscrop! Don’t miss out because these are great opportunities to learn about different university programs and admissions requirements.  Most of the sessions are at lunch in the library, so no sign up is needed. However, if you’d like to attend the University of Toronto or Western University sessions, these are scheduled during class time and you’ll need to sign up in advance in Student Services (317).

Concordia University (Montreal) – Info Session in Burnaby!

There will be an information session at the Delta Hotel by Marriott Burnaby Conference Centre next month. This is for anyone interested in learning more about Concordia University, its services, programs, the city of Montreal, and more! Vancouver Community College – Open House

Students and parents are invited to VCC for the Open House on Wednesday, Oct. 24. This is a free open house featuring tours, workshops, and prizes.

Guests can browse over 120 programs, explore the campus, and talk to instructors about arts, sciences, certified trades, university transfer, and more.

University of Alberta – Info Session in Vancouver

Grade 11 and 12 students are invited to a customized session to learn more about programs, admission, and the application process at the U of A.

APPLYING TO COLLEGE FOR NEXT SEPTEMBER?

GRADE 12 STUDENTS:  Have you applied yet for college?  If not, you should know that several local colleges open for online application on October 1st. Colleges operate on a “First Come – First Served” basis, so early application is very important. Applying early means you secure an earlier course registration date in June. Even if you plan to attend university it is a good idea to apply to one college this fall as a back up to your university application. Any questions, please see your counsellor.

The Indie Filmmakers Lab immerses filmmakers in an environment of creativity and innovation at SFU School for the Contemporary Arts, where they are encouraged to draw inspiration and ideas from art of all kinds – photography, painting, dance, music.  With the support of Lab instructors and SFU artists, they are challenged to push themselves, stretch their minds, and collaborate to realize ideas with a team of peers. BCIT INFO SESSION – Wed. February 28th

BCIT is having an open house on Wed. February 28th at its Burnaby Campus, 4:30 – 7:30pm. BCIT has more than 400 program options, so this is a great opportunity to get more info on all the different programs. Don’t miss out!
