OPEN HOUSE: Vancouver Film School

VANCOUVER FILM SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE

Vancouver Film School would love to virtually “meet” you to share

our story as well as provide information on exploring creative careers.

In 1987, Vancouver Film School introduced the world’s first

true immersion film program.

Today, VFS is much more than a film school – VFS is Canada’s premier

post-secondary entertainment arts institution, offering an immersive

curriculum in film, animation, video game production, VR/AR

development, motion and interactive design, programming, art/production foundation,

and other related programs.

Celebrated as one of the top global entertainment arts

institutions by Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and

Animation Career Review, VFS is known for providing

high-quality education in accelerated timeframes, and

our alumni are consistently credited on the most successful

products in the entertainment economies.

Our next Open House is on Saturday June 12, 2021

From 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM PST.

CAPILANO UNIVERSITY: B.Arts in Applied Behavious Analysis-Autism

Are you interested in psychology, education, or helping people with special needs? We have the degree for them at Capilano University!

We offer a 4-year Bachelor of Arts in Applied Behaviour Analysis – Autism. This is an applied psychology degree with an emphasis on operant psychology, learning theory, and autism.

Our graduates are eligible to become Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs) after graduation*.

Most of our students are able to secure paid part-time work related to their studies while they are in the program and our graduates report a 100% employment rate.

Our graduates go on to a diverse range of careers. Some become practicing Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs), others become teachers, while many pursue master’s degrees in special education, behavioral psychology, counselling, or other areas (e.g., human resource management, environmental studies, law school, etc.).

Our program is still accepting applications for Fall 2021.

 * BCaBA certification requires successful completion of a bachelor’s degree, required course work, and 1000-1300 hours of supervised field work. Our program provides the degree, course work, and a portion of the supervised field work required for certification exam eligibility.
