Vancouver Community College (VCC) Info Night – Wednesday, April 20, 4-7pm.

VCC offers 120 programs in the areas of health sciences, culinary arts, design, music, business, hospitality, transportation trades, human services, and university transfer programs.  VCC Info Night is a great chance to speak with department leaders about program specific questions, as well as learn about scholarships, bursaries, and ESL pathways. *Students will need their Personal Education Number to register, and this PEN number can be found on the report card.  Please see your counsellor if you need advising on summer courses.

BCIT Open House – April 8 & 9

BCIT OPEN HOUSE – April 8-9, 10am-3pm.  BCIT opens its doors to approximately 20,000 visitors over two days, showcasing interactive student displays, tours and innovation.  Grade 11 and 12 students are invited to explore Burnaby’s BCIT campus and learn about its 300+ programs.  To register or for more information go to:  http://commons.bcit.ca/openhouse/attend/

 

University of Alberta – info session for Grade 12 students

The University of Alberta will be in Vancouver on Saturday April 9th to help Grade 12 students prepare for their first year of studies. UAlberta advisors will be leading a workshop designed to help students determine which classes to take in their first year, how to design their schedule and register for courses.  Students who have not yet received an offer are still welcome to attend a session and will still be able to learn how they will be able to register for courses.​

KPU HIGH SCHOOL DISCOVERY DAY – February 19, 2016

Writing and Multimedia Contest – Anxiety BC

If you are between the ages of 17 – 29, and you are a writer, poet, or multimedia artist who has something to say about anxiety, you should consider entering AnxietyBC’s 2016 Writing & Multimedia Contest.  Winners will receive up to $500 and have their work published on AnxietyBC’s website and social media channels.
