If you have applied to the Faculty of Arts & Science (including Rotman Commerce) at the University of Toronto, University of Toronto Mississauga, and University of Toronto Scarborough – you are invited to attend a UofT information session on February 28, 2015.  This info session is for students who are interested in learning about the next steps in the admission process.  It will take place at the Vancouver Convention Centre, 1055 Canada Place, Vancouver, from 2:00 – 5:00pm (registration begins at 1:30pm).

For students who have applied or are interested in applying to Concordia University, there is an Information Session in Vancouver on Thursday, February 19th at 6:30 pm.  This info session will take place at the Delta Vancouver Suites (550 West Hastings St. Vancouver).  More details and registration for the event is available online at Concordia Receptions

Grade 11 and 12 students interested in learning more about Capilano’s Faculty of Arts & Sciences program are invited to attend an Open House on Thursday, February 12th, 5:00 – 7:00pm at CapU’s Bosa Centre for Film and Animation Lobby and Theatre.  This is a great opportunity to meet with faculty, staff and students in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Pure and Applied Sciences.  You will also get to see science labs and classrooms in actions, and discover learning supports such as the Math Learning Centre and Writing Centre.

Langara College is offering COURSE PLANNING SESSIONS for new University Studies applicants.  These 90 minute sessions, led by a Counsellor, are designed to help prospective students understand university entrance requirements, as well as requirements for faculties and majors. Participants will be introduced to the various course-planning tools that will assist them in preparing for university transfer.  We ask that new university transfer students attend one of these sessions prior to booking an individual appointment with a counsellor.  These session continue throughout the Spring and Summer semesters, however, additional sessions have been added during the high school Spring Break period. If you are in grade 12 and planning to attend Capilano University in the fall, you have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with a CAP Admissions Advisor on March 5^th.  See Ms. Watson in room 317 ASAP to sign up for a 15-minute appointment – an excellent opportunity to get more info on the admissions process, programs and classes offered, and general services offered at Capilano University.

• Self-reporting change – Current grade 12 students MUST self-report their interim/ final grade 11 and 12 marks from February 15 to March 31, 2015 to be considered for admission and grade-based entrance scholarships for September 2015 entry. uvic.ca/selfreporting

UVIC Faculty of Engineering Open House – February 7, 2015.    The Faculty of Engineering will host an open house on Saturday, February 7.
