Major issues like climate change, terrorism, and security threats are a growing concern for society. The highly successful Bachelor of Emergency & Security Management Studies and the two year Diploma of Emergency & Security Management (DESM) programs prepare students for exciting careers managing disasters and addressing security events.

The JIBC will be hosting an information night for both the Bachelor of Emergency & Security Management Studies (BESMS) and the two year Diploma of Emergency & Security Management (DESM) programs for both prospective students and parents.
The night will include information on the program provided by school staff, instructors, and current students.
There will also be door prizes and refreshments!

House of Commons Pages are selected from high schools across Canada every year. These students work in the House of Commons as a page for one full year (e.g. August 2020 to August 2021) while studying at a university in the Ottawa area.

Shad is a one month program for exceptional youth hosted at a University in Canada in July 2020 for students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Shad looks for diversity and well-roundedness in Shad participants with an over-arching commitment to excellence.

The annual Gr. 11/12 Parent Info Evening is tonight starting at 6pm in the Multipurpose Room. This is an excellent opportunity for grade 11/12 students and parents to learn more about graduation requirements, post-secondary options and admissions, and more. Representatives from both SFU and UBC will also be in attendance, and they will each be making presentations on admissions requirements and changes for SFU and UBC. The event starts at 6:00pm and should be done by 8:30pm.
