Borrowing Policy

Kindergarten to Grade 1:   Students are allowed to borrow 1 book at a time.

Grade 2 to Grade 7:   Students are allowed to borrow 2 books at a time. Students working on a research project will be able to borrow additional books related to their topic.

Books can be borrowed for 2 weeks (14 days) at a time. It is recommended that students get into the habit of returning books once per week during their library visit. Students should renew their books after 2 weeks if they would still like to read them. Books can be renewed up to 4 times, unless another student has placed a request for the item.

Students with Overdue books will not be allowed to borrow any more until the Overdue books are returned.
