We celebrated Pink Shirt Day on Wednesday which was also the cumulation of February is Kindness month at Seaforth. To tie in with those themes, this week I read Pink! by Lynne Rickards to the Kindergarten, Gr.1 and Gr.1/2 classes. All the other classes in the school heard the powerful story of Each Kindness by Jacqueline Woodson. I have provided a link to an audio clip by the author in which she explains why she wrote the book.
