Goodnight ipad by Ann Droyd

Last week, and for some of this week, I will be reading Goodnight ipad: a parody for the next generation to all the classes except the Kindergartners and grade 1s. It is a parody of Margaret Wise Brown’s 1947 classic,  Goodnight moon and it has an important message about families and electronic gadgets. The students have enjoyed the humour of this book and have not missed the important message of ‘unplugging’ before bedtime and getting a good night’s sleep! I thought this would be the perfect book to read to coincide with the launch of the ipad3. If you want to read the book, you can read it on-line at http://www.wegivebooks.org/
