On Wed.Feb.29th, the Vancouver Opera Society will be at Seaforth to perform Hansel and Gretel. The library has many different illustrated versions of this fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm in both French and English. But did you know that their works have recently created a literary trend? There are many novels written for Intermediate students that are based on the works of the Brothers Grimm. Here are a few titles that might be great to read: The Sisters Grimm: the Fairy Tale Detectives is a series by Michael Buckley; The Grimm Legacy by Polly Shulman and A tale dark & Grimm by Adam Gidwitz.
