Did you know that the day after Valentines’ Day is also a special day for Canadians? It’s National Flag of Canada Day! On Feb.15th, 1965, Canada hung up the old Red Ensign flag with its colonial connotations, and unfurled its distinctive red and white flag with the national symbol of the maple leaf on it.
