New Books in the Library

If you liked Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Candy Shop War, then you might like to read The Candymakers by Wendy Mass.

If you like the The Mysterious Benedict Society series, then you have to read Mr.Benedict’s Book of Perplexing Puzzles, Elusive Enigmas, and Curious Conundrums. It’s a non-fiction book – 793.73 STE.

If you like Animal Fantasy, then you’ll like The Familiars by Adam Jay Epstien.

If you like reading Mysteries, we have lots of new mystery books. Floors by Patrick Carman,  Belly Up by Stuart Gibbs and Island the Unknowns by Benedict Carey are strongly recommended by the Kidsbooks staff.

If you like Babymouse, the authors have a new series called Squish.

Two new books in the libary which are part of a series are The Call, book 1 of  The Magnificent 12 by Michael Grant and Museum of Thieves , book 1 of the Keepers Trilogy by Lian Tanner.

If you liked Rapunzel’s Revenge, you might like Shannon and Dean Hale’s second graphic novel, Calamity Jack based on Jack & the Beanstalk. 

If you liked My Life as a Book by Janet Tashjian, then read the sequel titled My Life as a Stuntboy.

If you liked Savvy by Ingrid Law, we have her next book Scumble.

And of course, we now have next Wimpy Kid book , Cabin Fever.

New books that I’ve enjoyed reading are War Horse, Wonderstruck, The Lemonade Crime, Cat Found, and right now I’m thoroughly enjoying Belly Up.
