Welcome back.
This is a very exciting year with the transition to our new online platform. This has allowed us some flexible options in how we deliver the program, how we support more students, and how we engage in deeper conversations about our students’ learning journey. In anticipation of the process, this blog has been revamped to reflect some of change processes as well as new documents to use.
Here is an update on certain implementation processes (details will be emailed to each site).
September:
- all current sites serving as hubs will undergo instruction regarding organization and registration of student seats, and review of online processes
- complete preliminary pre-assessments; enroll assigned students
October:
- all new sites begin Learning/Training days
- complete preliminary pre-assessments; enroll assigned students
- launch of Reading Assistant module to support reading, reading fluency, and reading comprehension
January-march:
- Connect the Dot Series – (available to all sites) Interventions – gain insights on strategies from the group, strategic interventions and connections to literacy in the classroom, connect evidence-based practices
