Jude is a strong and determined main character and watching her stand up for herself in a world that’s totally against her is really inspiring. The story moves fast, the twists are surprising, the whole time you don’t know who to trust, and the relationships—especially between Jude and Cardan—make it hard to stop reading. Overall, it’s the perfect book if you like fantasy with strong characters and lots of tension.

Once Upon a Broken Heart is a great book because it mixes magic, mystery, and romance in a way that feels exciting and easy to get lost in. Evangeline is a hopeful and relatable main character, and her choices—especially when it comes to Jacks—keep the story interesting. The world is beautiful and creative, and every chapter leaves you wanting to know what happens next. It’s the perfect book if you like fairy-tale vibes, plot twists, and characters who aren’t always what they seem.
