We’ve booked 2 sessions on the Staff Development calendar for ANYONE who is working at a Fast ForWord site (including satellite sites). If you came to the Introductory session in October, please consider attending Part 2.
- Part 1 (Wed. November 16th; 12:30-3:00) will focus on the following: brief introduction to neuroscience and implications to reading; introduction to Fast ForWord program as an intensive intervention; hands-on practice with program; how this is organized within school learning support program.
- Part 2 (Wed. November 30; 12:30-3:00) will focus on: practical interventions to move students along (what to do when we’re stuck); how to decipher those reports (Progress Tracker – weeding out the good, bad and ugly); how to keep sane (tips and tricks). *Note: You must have taken some introductory sessions prior to this session.
