Important RPI ISSUES Affecting Data

Hi Everyone,

PLEASE READ!  If you are having issues with the RPI launching consistently and some of our sites are showing up with multiple archiving tending to corrupt and fragment the data files — please see the steps below. 

STEPS TO FOLLOW:

When student is COMPLETE and ready to move on, go to ENROL > ASSIGN.   DO NOT change the grade level – this must be the same as when you did the initial RPI.  Click on Finish button.  Close program (x in upper right corner).  Count to 3.

Relaunch Gateway program.  In Exercises, select student and you should see the RPI icon to the right.   Once student has finished the RPI, allow 24 hours to upload the data to progress tracker. 

Next day:  ENROL > ASSIGN.  Choose next product (Language – Reading or Literacy Advanced). 

**Note: any grade level changes tends to break the sequence of the data and it assumes that there is a continuation and therefore does not offer an RPI.  (This is seen in those individuals who take over a school year to move through the 2 products or the teacher decides to bump up the grade number.)

**Assigning a second product without Finishing/closing the previous product will also result in the above.  Only assign one product at a time.   (When you click on the student, you should only see 1 icon on the right side.)

If you are experiencing any of the above or your archive files (in Lessons drive: FFW folder) are showing up as 0 KB, please call me ASAP. Will have further instructions within our QuickPlace.
