On Wednesday, September 19th Undergraduate Admissions Representatives from:  Brown University, Columbia University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, Princeton University, Stanford University, and University of Pennsylvania, will be in Vancouver.

Admission officers will address issues of particular concern to students applying from Canada.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Academic Programs
  • Admission Policies
  • Costs & Financial Aid
  • Student Life

There will also be a general question/answer period as well as an opportunity to speak with individual representatives

Have you already applied to SFU, or ar thinking of applying to SFU for September 2012?

On Monday, February 6th, at Lunch, there will be an SFU Representative here at Burnaby South for a Presentation in the Multi-Purpose Room.

This Presentation will provide some extremely important information regarding:

  • How to complete the application to-do list
  • Self-reporting of grades
  • How to check your application status
  • When to expect an admissions offer
  • More information regarding Scholarships & Financial Aid
  • What your next steps are after receiving an admission offer to SFU
  • Additional details

The Presentation will start promptly at 11:45am, so please make sure to come to the Multi-Purpose Room as soon as lunch begins to secure your seat.

The Presenter will be happy to answer any questions you may have about SFU, so please come prepared 🙂

Burnaby South is happy to be holding a Post-Secondary Information Afternoon on Friday, November 25th from 1pm to 3pm in the Cafeteria at Burnaby South.

All students in Grades 10 to 12, are invited to come down and visit with the Post-Secondary Schools, to gather information and ask any questions you may have.

S.U.C.C.E.S.S.  BC has organized a Post-Secondary Education Fair, on Saturday, December 3rd, from 9:30am to 2:30pm at the S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Social Service Centre in Vancouver.

They will be providing both Seminars (in English, with Chinese Translation...which will be especially helpful for Chinese-Speaking Families) and Booth Exhibitions for participants.
