Basic Admission REquirements

University of Toronto (all 3 Colleges), requires completion of English 12, plus 4 additional Provincially Examinable or AP Courses (any AP Course)

  • Some Faculties require English 12, Calculus 12, PLUS 4 additional Provincially Examinable or AP Courses  --> MAKE SURE TO CHECK WHICH FACULTY YOU ARE INTERESTED IN APPLYING TO INCASE IT REQUIRES CALCULUS

The following Provincially Examinable Courses can be used in calculating your admission average

  • Biology 12

  • English Literature 12
  • French 12
  • Geography 12
  • Geology 12

  • Mandarin 12
  • Physics 12
  • Principals of Math 12
  • Punjabi 12
  • Spanish 12

 **NOTE:  Challenge Exams are NOT acceptable at University of Toronto

Minimum Admission Averages

 Admission averages vary by program and/or campus, anywhere from Low 80's to Low 90's

 application fee

Base application fee is $130 

University of Toronto Assessment fee is $90

Rotman Commerce & Engineering Applicants will pay an additional Student Profile Assessmrnt fee

Go through the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC): http://www.ouac.on.ca/ 

policy on repeated courses

University of Toronto gives preference to student's whose marks are a result of a FIRST ATTEMPT at a course

  • Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering ONLY considers the FIRST ATTEMPT....UNLESS there is extenuating circumstances
  • Rotman Commerce (within the Faculty of Arts & Science) will consider ONLY the FIRST ATTEMPT in all courses
