How Much Is Too Much?

TMI is an acronym known to many when it comes to the digital world.  Grade 6/7 students were asked how much is Too Much Information to share online through various forms of social media tools such as Snap chat (video or photo messaging system) or FB, IM IG, YT, etc.  Students know not to give personal information but when we talked about other scenarios, it because much more difficult to keep ‘life’ relatively private.

• Students first completed a survey from Netsmartz.org called “Which Teen Are You?”
• After the survey, we went over the profile and watched the video on 6 Degrees of Information
