Summer Reading

I have been working in the library during Summer Session.  Friday was my last day, so now I’m officially on summer vacation.  My mind is now on summer reading.  I brought some books home with me from Mountain library and I’ve been to Burnaby Public Cameron branch (although I really want to get to the Metrotown branch mystery section).  But do I want to read those books that looked so interesting in May and June?  Reading, especially in summer, is for relaxation and enjoyment.  Probably not the best time to ‘plan ahead’, but rather, to grab what grabs me at the moment.  So what is grabbing me today?  Jasper Fforde’s Thursday Next (The Woman Who Died a Lot), the latest Gail Bowen mystery, 12 Rose Street, and an old favourite, Jane Austen.  Tomorrow and next week?  Who knows?
