We’re looking forward to the longer days of sunlight from January onwards. 2020 saw the transition back to the classroom as well as a mixed form of hybrid learning. O365 Teams and blogs continued to be the backbone of communication and storytelling. As well, the Canvas platform served to provide another alternative to the organization of course content. We also cannot forget that December showcased “Hour of Code“, providing experiences in the world of coding and problem solving.
As we look ahead, here are some continuing threads.
- Communicating Student Learning – Gilmore primary group (Enhance Story, Voice and Reflection using ipads and apps)
- District Supported Digital Portfolios as ongoing conversations in learning and documentation
- Video recordings of workshops and Bits and Bytes Pro-D for teachers to view and return as needed. Click here: Pro-D Workshops OR Bits and Bytes
- Support for O365 Teams and new updates
- ADST – Beebots and other kits (Micro:Bits are going out again. MineCraft for Education is primed and ready. One Beebot hive is at Parkcrest > Imagine integration of coding, math, critical problem solving and story all rolled into one.
