Teach-nology Camp

Posted on October 22, 2010

How was it?!!

The Learning Technologies Team would like to thank you all for participating in the camp.  Our example of using stop motion animation to create a message could be applicable to developing any type of story.  We hope that you  have increased your comfort level in using cameras, movie maker, and file management techniques in developing the  integration of this project into your curriculum.

Please let us know more about your thinking?

What did you enjoy about your experience?

What learning will you take away into the classroom?

This was a fantastic experience! I loved the step by step instructions and the helpful staff. I really enjoyed the process of hands on as well so I felt like I could repeat this at school as well. Thank you kindly.

I thoroughly enjoyed the presentation and activities today. I also enjoyed working with colleagues.
I now know how to create a story or message in the
animated form. I will be able to take what I learned
and teach it to my students. I will, however, have to
continue to practice the steps so that I can guide the students through the process with fewer glitches. The
hand out is useful in this area.

This day was fun, informational and practical!
    Thank you, all.

Good to work at your own speed with practice project. Great way to learn to use the programs. Creating our own project was great fun and a good way to apply what we learned. We look forward to using this with our students. Thank you.

I learned so much at this camp! The information was so well presented, they thought of every little glitch we might run into. I was quite surprised that what we set out to achieve by the end of the day was actually finished by 3:00pm. The fact that we finished on time with a quality product speaks to the planning and attention that went into this day! Thank you all so much.

A wonderfully informative and diverse session. Something usable for every subject teacher at every grade level. I’m looking forward to sharing some of these strategies and techniques with my students.

Thanks Janet, Francine, Lucky, and Gordon. The preparation and planning that you went through so that we could have a hands-on-experience is greatly appreciated. I had a great deal of fun trying to do everything in such a tight time frame. Looking forward to seeing how I can apply this at our school.
