Course Description:

You will discover the Francophone world while working on a board game, produce a sports-demonstration video,  research and then, orally present a popular culture of 60’s, 70’s or 80’s, and create a musical show.

The themes that may be covered are:

  1. The Francophone world
  2. Physical fitness
  3. Mysterious world of Science
  4. Pop culture
  5. Volunteering and making a difference in the world
  6. Music

 

Evaluation Guidelines

In language classes, evaluation is ongoing.  It is both formative (small assignments graded throughout the course of a unit) and summative (final tests and projects). Evaluation may include assignments, presentations, tests, quizzes, projects, skits, homework, class work, group work and individual assessment. Evaluation will examine the four ways of knowing a language; reading, writing, speaking and listening.
