French 11                                                               Prerequisite: French 10 or French 10 Honours

Resources: D’Accord 2 textbook and workbook.

 

Course Description:

In this course, students will:

  • Complete a thorough overview of the material learned in French 10
  • Continue to develop all four aspects of language learning: reading, listening, speaking and writing
  • Develop a positive attitude towards French culture in Canada and in the world
  • Develop work habits and skills that encourage self-monitoring and self-motivation
  • Participate, cooperate and collaborate in small and large groups.

 

Some themes that may be covered are:

  • Life in and around the home
  • Food and nutrition; grocery shopping
  • Health and wellness
  • Getting around town; running errands
