Evaluation may include assignments, presentations, tests, quizzes, projects, skits, homework, class work, group work and individual assessment. Evaluation will examine the four ways of knowing a language; reading, writing, speaking and listening.
Benefits of learning French
Successful French students have increased work possibilities in the federal government and for working or studying abroad. With over 60 nations in which French is spoken, travel experiences can be facilitated and enhanced with a proficiency in the French language. Furthermore, research has shown that learning languages increases higher-level thinking. Finally, it also gives students the opportunity to develop a better understanding of others as well as develop greater cultural sensitivity.
