Nature walks and rocks

Hi Nelson students,

My family and I love going for nature walks. We also love painting. We decided to paint some rocks and release them into the wilderness and hopefully make other people smile. Here are a few photos of our rocks on our favourite hiking trail.

A special hello to Ms. Tsakalos’s class, especially if you are visiting this blog for the first time. It made me smile when Ms. Tsakalos shared her photo of a spider on a tulip with me. Did you see the spider?! I’ve included her photo below too.

Hope you are able to get outside and notice all of the beautiful sights in nature!

Thanks Miss Tsakalos! It was a very fun and easy project for me and my family to do! I hope we inspire other people to try it or to at least put a smile on someone’s face!

Hi Mrs. Roberts. Can I try to find the rocks?I also have a question which path did you put the rocks on?

Hi Ava, The rocks are on a trail that’s in my neighbourhood, not the Nelson neighbourhood-sorry! Why don’t you make some of your own rocks and hide them instead? Other people are doing it too…so keep your eyes open when you are walking.
