The Pre-Employment Program (PEP) meets the needs of students in Grades 8 through 12 who require significant curricular modifications in order to demonstrate their learning. The focus is on basic functional literacy, numeracy and life skills, with a strong emphasis on work experience. Students are integrated in elective classes and develop their social and functional life skills. These skills are developed even more thoroughly through both internal and external work experience programs. This program also provides supports for families to access resources in the community and collaborates with various outside agencies to help better support student needs. After finishing their grade 12 year, students receive an Evergreen Certificate (school leaving certificate).
