English Requirement
Douglas College’s English- language proficiency requirement is based on both the course grade and provincial exam mark for English 12. English 12 (not Communications 12) with a grade of B is required as course pre-requisite for English courses.
Math Requirement
Foundations of Math 11 with a minimum grade of “C” will meet the requirements for most programs including admission requirements to universities however; students applying to a Science or University Transfer Business program will need to complete their Pre-calculus 12 with a minimal grade of “B”. Students with lower than a “B” must write a Math assessment (pre-calculus or calculus readiness) prior to registration. Douglas College offers upgrading courses in mathematics.
