IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT regarding the Guangdong Scholarship Program:

The Department of Education of Guangdong Province, China, is offering scholarships for eligible British Columbia (B.C.) students to study abroad.

In B.C., the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills and Training, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, administers the recruitment of students and the management of the Guangdong Scholarship Program.

The purpose of the scholarship program is to strengthen mutual understanding and friendship between Guangdong, China and British Columbia. It supports the development of cooperation and exchange in culture, education, science and engineering, economy and trade, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

Full scholarships are offered to successful applicants to study at the undergraduate level in Guangdong, China.

B.C. high school students graduating in 2019, high school graduates and eligible post-secondary students wishing to participate in undergraduate studies are welcome to apply.

British Columbia applications must be submitted by March 29, 2019.
