One of the benefits of everyone learning from home is the amount of resources that have now become available to support our learning and teaching efforts. Some of these resources are brand new like publishers allowing teachers and authors to read their books online without violating copyright; while others have been around for a while. This isolation has allowed me the opportunity to really search and find some great learning and literacy resources that I will be sharing with our school community and hopefully you will enjoy them too!
The latest one I found was astronauts reading stories from space! How cool is that? You can actually see them in their space stations and they talk to you about the book, explain what they are doing and read a story! There is even an eBook read by Canadian astronaut David Saint-Jacques. If you are interested in exploring more about space the Canadian Space Agency site has a variety of experiments, activities and games that are also worth looking at.
