During this time of global health concerns, our mental health is paramount and regular self-care is important!
Here are a few tips:
- Monitor your screen-time and limit your Covid-19 news intake
- Stick to a schedule (write out a plan for the day, go to bed and wake up at regular times)
- If you can, get out for walks in nature as much as possible (keeping a 2-metre distance from non-family
members at all times) - Stay connected with friends and family on the phone and/or social media.
- Visit the Calm Blog or download the Mindshift app from Anxiety Canada
- Visit the Burnaby School District website for further counselling & mental health resources
- The Provincial Government also released a list of helpful mental health resources.
