Wednesday, Feb. 23rd is Pink Shirt Day! Everyone is encouraged to wear pink as an expression of saying No! to bullying. For this week, I’ll be reading anti-bullying stories such as Pink!, Don’t Laugh at Me, and One to the primary classes. These stories have strong messages of how it takes all of us to stop bullying. For the Intermediate classes, I will be book-talking some novels that have an anti-bullying theme. Some of these novels are The Nine Lives of Travis Keating, Stargirl, The Nose from Jupiter, and The Hundred Dresses.
