Remembrance Day Assemblies

Posted on November 15, 2022 by mcallisterc

The VPA was so proud and honoured to organize and present the two Remembrance Day assemblies, both live for the first time since 2019.

we opened with slides of Ms. Lawrence’s students’ poppy art work to Hozier’s cover of Bridge Over Troubled Water.

We had Student Council process with candles, as our Co-Presidents MC’d with Mr. Pare.

Our Concert Choir dazzled, our Senior Concert Band amazed us, Dance embodied every emotion so beautifully, and Drama 10-12 used a fabulous metaphor with music to show us photographs of war.
It was a stunning morning.
We will not forget.
