Alpha Theatre Production Radio Plays…Coming Streaming Soon!!!

Posted on May 26, 2021May 26, 2021 by mcallisterc

This year, the students in the Theatre Production class studied the art of radio plays, and some of the world’s classics to prepare for these vocal productions. From creating their own Foley sounds and musical scores, to learning to use their voices as their main instrument for audience entertainment, this has been a wonderful learning journey for all involved. Imagine, a world without all the media currently available to us. And imagine further, your family tucked around a large radio in the living room to listen to this week’s broadcasted radio play. It was a new world for these students and provided wonderful conversations and learning opportunities, especially during times of a pandemic and new protocol. These shows truly made it possible to remember that the Arts are always alive and possible.

Information about donating to stream and show times will be released June 1st! We cannot wait to bring this to you all!
Be well and safe!
