COME AND JOIN THEATRE PRODUCTION PM FOR THIS SEPTEMBER!

Posted on April 30, 2021 by mcallisterc

Are you a creative student who loves to perform or work on theatre behind-the-scenes, but Drama doesn’t fit in your schedule? You still have a chance to be part of our dramatic family at Alpha!

Come and join THEATRE PRODUCTION PM! It’s outside of the timetable, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with Wednesdays completely online if we need to run it this way next year. We run from 3:15pm-4:15pm, and accept all grades 8-12.
We work on various performance projects including our main stage production! The best part is that it’s a place for those who are also interested in more than acting. Lighting design, sound, set design, costumes, directing and stage managing are just a few areas that students can dabble in. Plus, it’s a place to be you, and where you can feel a part of something fabulous!
Come and shine with us! “Why fit in, when you were born to stand out.” -Dr. Seuss

If you have any questions, feel free to email Mrs. Cristina McAllister at cristina.mcallister@burnabyschools.ca. Stop in and sign up with your Academic Counselor TODAY!!!

MISSION STATEMENT

To cultivate and inspire a community of passionate young artists who will go forth and learn to express themselves upon the world’s various stages and canvases with self-assurance, confidence, and resilience.  Through emotional expression, students will be able to collaborate in a safe, creative, and inclusive environment, where being one’s true self is celebrated each and every day.
