Headspace: This mindfulness app has a wide variety of guided meditations as well as numerous animated videos on different stress-related topics. We use this app regularly in The Learning Centre (TLC) for weekly mindfulness practice. It is available online or as a mobile app, and it is currently being offered for free.
Calm: This mindfulness app has a huge number of mindfulness meditations on a variety of topics. In addition, it offers a wide selection of calming background music, sleep stories for children and adults, and master class series on a variety of topics. We frequently use the background scenes and music in TLC to create a calm work space for students. It is available online or as a free mobile app. Some features may not be accessible with the free membership.
