After a beautiful summer, here we are again. The sun is still shining and I’d rather be out in it with a good book. Oh well…
It’s been great to see so many of you already. I’m really looking forward to the coming year and all the great things that will take place here at Mountain and in the library. Next month I will be rolling out the Kobo e-readers when the new Mountain Reads books are released. We have 12 e-readers and they will be signed out the same as other books – after you’ve had your parents sign a consent form, that is.
I am hoping to get a student advisory council going for the library. If you’re interested in being a part of that, please come by the library and talk to me.
Book club and library monitors will be starting up again soon. Watch for announcements in the school bulletin.
