SFU FACULTY OF APPLIED SCIENCES: Webinar Sessions
We have come far as a society in terms of technological advances to remain social during these physically isolating times, and to make steps towards eradicating COVID-19.
In 2020, technology has been arguably more important than ever, and we are looking to introduce the field of Applied Sciences to new individuals.
SFU’s Faculty of Applied Sciences invites senior students to join us for a series of webinar sessions throughout the month of January!
The webinars will be taking place on the following dates and times:
January 7th – 4:30 – 5:30 pm – General Applied Sciences presentation
January 13th – 4:30 – 5:30 pm – General Applied Sciences presentation
January 27th – 4:30 – 5:30 pm – General Applied Sciences presentation

January 20th – 4:30 – 5:30 pm – Software Systems presentation
January 21st – 4:30 – 5:30 pm – Mechatronic Systems Engineering presentation

CUE BC Winter Edition!

Parents as Education & Career Coaches is a program that helps parents become more effective career development allies for their children.
Participants are introduced to the concept of coaching; an appropriate role they can assume when guiding and supporting their children’s career and educational journeys.
Parents are given practical tools and strategies to help them become better career coaches for their youth as they transition from high school into post-secondary and their future careers.

THURS, NOV 19th: UBC SAUDER SCHOOL OF BUSINESS PRESENTATION
This is to inform you of the upcoming UBC BCOM Fall Preview 2020 event hosted by the UBC Sauder School of Business.
The event will be taking place on
Thursday November 19th
from 4:30 – 6:00pm
it will take place on Zoom this year.
This online event highlights the BCOM program and gives prospective students information on applying, as well as a chance to meet some of our current students, professors and staff.
Take advantage of this opportunity to explore the possibilities that exist for them in the UBC Sauder BCom program.
Attendees will learn more about the BCom curriculum and hear about some of the unique extracurricular opportunities available to students from the diverse perspectives of our current students and instructors and staff from our Business Career Centre.
