The Stacey Levitt Memorial Award was created in memory and celebration of her life. On August 30, 1995, Stacey was struck and killed by a car while jogging in North Toronto. She was only 18 years old.
Stacey loved life, and this annual student award encourages Canadian youth to embody Stacey’s qualities and ideals, and the overarching Parachute goal to live a long life to the fullest while maintaining an approach that is rooted in risk management and injury prevention. The selected recipient will receive $2,500 to do just that.
