Ms Purdy: Charter of Rights and Freedoms Case Study
Ms Purdy has asked you to research an important Charter case. Click here to see the assignment.
To start:
1. Click here for an optional Note Taking Sheet. You will need to Save this document in order to use/write in it. Read the questions. As you find the answers, drop key words and notes under each question.
Research
- Review the case in the textbook or Wikipedia.
- Review the school Databases. I suggest the Gale Canada in Context Database.
- Click here to see some recommended resources from the Destiny Catalogue.
- Ms Purdy may have some recommended articles for your case.
Note: Each time you read a resource and take notes, you need to cite it. This means you tell the reader that you read it. Ms Parsonson will show you how to do this. Don’t worry. It’s not hard. Each resource will appear in a special list called Works Cited located at the end of your paper. Parts of these papers will also appear as quotes (and footnotes!) throughout your research paper.
