The library subscribes to both Gale and EBSCO databases as well as a number of encyclopedias including Britannica and World Book. Encyclopedias are available in French, Spanish and English. Many articles in the databases can be translated into many languages. You may need to log-in to access these resources if you are not at school. What is a database? A database is an online resource that contains articles that allows a person to search a list of thousands, sometimes even millions, of different newspapers, journals and magazines to locate an article on any given subject. Some of the various articles that one may find in such an article database are full text articles while some searches may abstracts of articles.
What is an encyclopedia? An encyclopedia is a reference work with summaries on a range of topics.
