Industry Connect Programs
Burnaby offers 7 unique Industry Connect Programs that prepare students for post-secondary programs and entry level work. Student learn hands-on skills and students develop a portfolio of their work. Each program includes 80-120 hours of work experience.

Graphics/Media Arts – Byrne Creek
- Obtain experience and knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Animate, Premiere Pro & In Design. Learn about graphic design layout for posters, logos, products, magazines and 2D animation.
- Learn about video and film production, bring characters and stories to life. Learn the camera, composition, exposure, light, depth of field and perspective, learn editing, and retouching.
- This can lead to opportunities in fields such as graphic design, photography, web design, video and film production, animator.

- Students will be able to select courses that provide training to use applications such as: VectorWorks, SketchUp, Qlab, Audacity, and Adobe Photoshop
- Learn about set, costume, lighting, and sound design
- Labour Market Outlook – Theatre, fashion, exhibit and other creative designs
DigiPen Gaming Development Academy – Cariboo
- This program is offered to students who attend Cariboo full-time
- Students have the option of enrolling in up to five courses. One class is offered at grade 8, one at grade 9, and four classes at grade 10-12.
