Community Council

Meet the Maywood Community Council!

Our Maywood Community Council is a group of community volunteers who work hard to make Maywood a dynamic and welcoming community hub. Throughout the year they host a variety of events such as the Welcome BBQ, Maywood Monster Mash (Halloween), Flea Market, and the world famous Carnival.

The Maywood Community Council supports our students by fundraising for things such as a new playground, team jerseys, classroom consumables, and field trips.

The Community Council is looking into creating a social media page where community members can connect. Please stay tuned for more information.

We are always looking for volunteers! If you are able to help at events or in the Community Room, please come visit Marie in the Community Room for more information.

Everyone is welcome to join Community Council meetings. The link for Zoom meetings is sent out via email before the meeting. In person meetings happen at Maywood Community School.
