Adrienne Gear has been a teacher in the lower mainland for near two decades and has published books on teaching and learning reading through meta-cognition leading to more efficient comprehension through ‘Connecting’, ‘Questioning’, ‘Visualizing’, ‘Inferring’, and ‘Transforming’ stages using a wide variety of picture books and a range of non fiction resources. The publications are called “Reading Power” (Fiction and Non Fiction) and more recently “Writing Power”.
