Schulich Leader Scholarships are the largest and most prestigious undergraduate Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) scholarships in Canada.
Up to 100 awards. Roughly half the awards are valued @ $100,000 for engineering scholarships and the other half is $80,000 for science and math scholarships.
Are you the next Schulich Leader?
Nominees must possess at least two of three criteria:
- Academic Excellence
- Outstanding Leadership (community, business or entrepreneurial)
- Financial Need
*** Not for students planning a career as a medical practitioner or researcher – this scholarship is geared towards the entrepreneurially-minded student.

Alpha Secondary’s Scholarship Committee will be selecting one graduating student to represent our school as our 2021 Schulich Leader Nominee. If you want to be Alpha’s nominee submit a completed Student Profile in Teams and either send Ms. McChesney an email at adrienne.mcchesney@burnabyschools.ca or come and see her in room A100 to express your interest in the nomination by Friday January 8th. Alpha’s Scholarship Committee will decide on a nominee no later than January 15th. Once you have been nominated, you will have four weeks to complete your application. The complete scholarship application package is due February 17, 2021.
