CLC Workshops and Speakers – January 24, 2022

As part of the Career and Life Connections program at Burnaby North, grade 11 and 12 students are invited to attend  career skills workshops and guest speaker presentations on January 24 as part of Assessment Week activities. 

These presentations will be held virtually on January 24 via Zoom.  CLC 11 & 12 students are encouraged to join as many sessions as they like.  No advance sign up is necessary.  Students will also receive a reminder e-mail about each presentation a couple of days in advance along with the links to join the sessions.

Schedule and Description of Workshops and Speakers

Session 1:  Getting Ready for First-Year Post-Secondary Studies
Time:  10:30 am to 11:15 am

Session 2:  Social Media for Professional and Work Settings
Time:  11:30 to 12:15 pm

Session 3:  How to Build Your Personal Brand
Time:  1:00 pm to 1:45 pm

Session 4:  Learn about Personal Finances
Time:  2:00 to 2:45

Session 5:  University Studies and Research at Harvard
Time:  3:00 to 3:45
